Trail to town
Cannondale brings its focus on rider fit and distinctive engineering to electric mountain, road, touring, cargo, and city bikes.

The Cannondale story
In 1971, cycling was still conforming to some sort of rulebook. Cannondale’s founders believed there had to be a better way, so they cut a new path from a Connecticut workshop.
They heralded aluminum and carbon-fiber manufacturing while everybody else stuck with steel, and shook up the suspension establishment with single-sided forks. The result: iconic bicycles that just work better.
Come ride with us.

1971, Today
1971
Cannondale starts in a Connecticut workshop with one idea: cycling was too traditional, and there had to be a better way.
1980s
While most of the industry stuck with steel, Cannondale bet on oversized aluminum frames, and helped make them the standard.
1990s
Cannondale shook up the suspension establishment with Headshok and, later, the single-sided Lefty fork.
2000s
Pioneering carbon-fiber frames and award-winning race bikes that reinvented what light and stiff could feel like.
Today
Moterra, Tesoro and more bring the same obsession with ergonomics and engineering to e-bikes.
