    1. Acceptance

    By using the PedalJets website, renting or purchasing an e-bike, or booking service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

    2. Eligibility

    You must be at least 18 years old to book a rental or purchase from PedalJets. Rental riders must be at least 12 years old; riders 12 to 17 need a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian and must ride with someone 18 or older. The person who booked must bring a valid government-issued ID at rental pickup; it does not have to be a driver's license.

    3. Rentals

    • Reservation: Reservations are confirmed when a signed waiver and a valid card on file are received. Payment is collected in store when the bikes are returned, unless otherwise noted.
    • Staff gratuity: A 10% staff gratuity is automatically added to every rental and supports the team who fits the bike, preps the equipment, walks you through riding, and suggests routes.
    • Late returns: Returns past the agreed end time may be billed at the published hourly or daily rate.
    • Damage, theft, loss: You are responsible for the equipment from pickup through return and authorize PedalJets to charge the card on file for repair, replacement, missing accessories, excessive cleaning, and related costs.
    • No-show: Reservations not picked up by the scheduled time may be charged a no-show fee per reserved bike to the card on file.
    • Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. Cancellations inside 24 hours may be charged the no-show fee.

    4. Safe Riding

    Operating an e-bike involves inherent risks. You agree to obey traffic laws, wear the helmet provided, not ride while impaired, and use the bike only on appropriate surfaces and within rated limits. The signed liability waiver provided at reservation governs all rentals.

    5. Sales & Service

    All sales are completed in-store. Manufacturer warranties apply to bikes and components per the manufacturer's terms. Service work is performed by appointment; estimates are provided before any chargeable work begins.

    • 30-day returns: Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unused, in original condition and packaging. Final sale and special order items are non-returnable. See our Return Policy.
    • Refunds: Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method. Completed service labor, rentals, and gratuities are not returnable.

    6. Rewards Program

    PedalJets Rewards is a free points-based loyalty program. By creating a PedalJets account you are automatically enrolled. These rules govern the program in addition to the rest of these Terms.

    • Eligibility: Open to customers age 18+ with a valid PedalJets account. One account per customer. Employees, household members, and accounts created for resale are not eligible.
    • Earning points: Members earn 1 point per $1 of net taxable subtotal (after promotions and discounts, before tax and gratuity) on completed in-store purchases, completed rentals, and completed service tickets. Points post when the order is marked completed or closed. Online orders post after in-store pickup.
    • Non-earning items: Gift cards, security deposits, no-show fees, damage charges, tips/gratuities, and taxes do not earn points.
    • Redemption value: 100 points = $2 off (2% back), redeemed in 100-point ($2) increments with a 100-point minimum per redemption. Points are applied to your bill at the time of payment.
    • How to redeem: Tell staff at checkout for in-store sales, rentals, or service, or apply rewards in the online cart. Rewards are applied as a discount line after promo codes and group discounts and cannot exceed the post-discount taxable subtotal of the order.
    • Stacking: Rewards may be combined with promo codes and group discounts unless a specific promotion states otherwise.
    • No cash value: Points and rewards have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred, or combined across accounts, and are not refundable.
    • Returns and refunds: If an order is refunded or cancelled, the points originally earned on that order are reversed. If a redeemed reward is refunded, the redeemed points are returned to the account.
    • Adjustments: Staff may manually adjust point balances (with a recorded reason) to correct errors, resolve disputes, or extend goodwill.
    • Expiration: Points may expire after a period of inactivity. Expiration is currently disabled; if it is enabled in the future, the default expiration is 24 months from the earn date and we will give reasonable advance notice.
    • Fraud and abuse: PedalJets may void points, suspend redemption, or close accounts in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or violation of these Terms.
    • Account closure: If you close your account or it remains inactive for an extended period, any unredeemed points may be forfeited.
    • Program changes: PedalJets may modify, suspend, or end the Rewards program at any time with reasonable notice through email or this website. If the program is terminated, earned points will remain redeemable for at least 30 days after notice is given.

    7. Payments

    You authorize PedalJets to charge the card on file for the rental balance (including the 10% staff gratuity), approved damage or loss charges, late returns, no-show fees, and any other amounts described in your signed rental agreement.

    Program description: By opting in, you consent to receive transactional text messages from PedalJets, including confirmations, service and rental updates, appointment reminders, and inquiry responses.

    • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

    9. Website Use

    You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to disrupt it, or access it through automated means without permission. Content on this site (logos, images, copy) is the property of PedalJets or its licensors and may not be reused without permission.

    10. Disclaimers

    The website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

    11. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, PedalJets is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to a rental is limited to the amount you paid for that rental.

    12. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

    13. Changes

    We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
