    PedalJets ("PedalJets," "we," "us," or "our") operates an e-bike retail and rental business located at 4390 N Miller Rd, Suite 101, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit our website, rent or purchase an e-bike, book service, or otherwise interact with us.

    2. Information We Collect

    • Contact details: name, email, phone number, billing/shipping address.
    • Rental and reservation details: pickup date, duration, rider count, rider heights, emergency contact, signed waivers.
    • Payment information: card brand, last four digits, and expiration are stored on file; full card numbers are processed by our payment processor and not retained by us.
    • Account information: if you create an account, email, password hash, profile fields, and bikes you've saved.
    • Identification: at pickup, we verify a government-issued ID from the person who booked the rental.
    • Usage data: pages visited, device type, IP address, and similar analytics signals.

    3. How We Use Your Information

    • Fulfill rentals, sales, and service appointments.
    • Send transactional messages (confirmations, reminders, return notices).
    • Process payments, damage charges, late fees, and no-show fees per your signed agreement.
    • With your consent, send a one-time post-ride request to review us on Google.
    • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
    • Improve our website, products, and customer experience.

    4. SMS / Text Messaging

    We do not share your mobile phone number with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected for SMS consent is used solely by PedalJets to deliver the messages you opted in to receive.

    • What we collect and why: We collect your mobile phone number to send transactional messages, including confirmations, status updates, and reminders related to your rental, service, or purchase.
    • Consent basis: Messages are only sent to people who have explicitly opted in.
    • Message frequency varies.
    • Message and data rates may apply.

    5. How We Share Information

    We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, including our point-of-sale and inventory provider (Lightspeed), our messaging provider (Twilio), our email provider, our payment processor, and our hosting and database provider. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

    6. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Measurement

    We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

    We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure how visitors use our site and whether our advertising leads to bookings and purchases. When you book a test ride, reserve a rental, send us a message, or buy online, we share the event with Google, along with your contact details (email, phone, name) in hashed (coded) form so Google can match the conversion to an ad click. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

    Visitors in regions that require consent (including the EEA, UK, and Switzerland) are asked before any advertising or analytics measurement runs, and can accept or decline. Anyone can change their choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page; declining or withdrawing consent stops this measurement going forward.

    7. Data Retention

    We retain rental agreements, waivers, and transaction records for as long as needed to operate our business and comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Account data is retained until you ask us to delete it.

    8. Your Choices

    • Access, correct, or delete account data by signing into your portal or emailing us.
    • Unsubscribe from marketing email via the link in any message.
    • Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out of further texts.

    9. Children

    Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
